Teaching 5^th graders the dynamics of a fight during class

Have you ever wondered how heavy airplanes can stay in the air

As we studied, an airplane needs four forces to fly. They are: force, thrust, lift and drag. The thrust is the force that propels a flying machine forward. In real planes, it's provided by the motion given by the engine.

To test the theory, we had a paper plane championship in the end, when the students could learn and have fun.
