Solidarity Day: humanitarian action with 2^nd grade high school students

Our sophomores worked on the concept of NGOs. After that, they mobilized on a food raising action for an organization from Passos.

They developed planning and problem-solving skills to determine the best options and choices they had. They decided to prepare the "Spaghetti Day" for the workers of "Corrente do Bem".

For a whole week, they donated the necessary ingredients like pasta, tomato sauce and oil. On the following Saturday they could take the ingredients and see the house they are currently working on.

The goal was to incorporate humanitarian actions into their daily lifes as well as remind them from their duties towards other human beings in the world.
