It's Always Time to Learn: A Telling Time Activity in the 4th grade
Telling time is an essential skill in our daily lives, and learning how to tell time in English is an important part of the language-learning process. We always want our students to feel comfortable and confident using English, and by learning how to tell time, they can put their knowledge into practice at school, at home, and wherever they go.
In this activity, our 4th-grade students had the opportunity to practice different language skills, including reading, speaking, and following instructions. One student had to read the time written on a piece of paper, while another had to draw it on the clock displayed on the board. All the students were excited to participate and fully engaged in the activity, showing that learning can be fun when working together. They also reminded us that it is always time to learn!
