6th grade: Student Engagement in a Hands on Group Task
According to the methodology applied in our English classes, we do a lot of "team work." We have to cooperate, discuss, give ideas, find solutions, and so on, all the time.
In this class, in particular, the students from the 6th grade worked in groups. They had to make a bulletin board.
To make it, the following materials were necessary: cardboard, adhesive tape or a stapler, a pair of scissors, TNT fabric, and elastic ribbons.
The material was distributed, and in groups they had to decide the best way to make it. It was a great "hands on" activity.
