Ninth Grade Reconnects with the Voices of Their Sixth-Grade Selves
Last week, our ninth-grade students experienced a particularly meaningful tradition: opening the time capsules they had created in sixth grade. This ritual takes place every year, and at last their moment to revisit the past had arrived.
The photographs capture expressions of excitement, laughter, and quiet emotion as students rediscovered letters, photographs, predictions, and dreams written three years earlier. Reading their own words from the past proved both delightful and moving, offering a vivid reminder of how much they have grown and matured, not only academically, but personally as well.
It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on their journey, to acknowledge their development, and to share yet another memorable experience together.
