Future Engineers at Work: 5th Grade Rocket Challenge

During this term, the 5th grade students have been exploring different means of transportation. From electric cars to airplanes, they are expanding their vocabulary and gaining a deeper understanding of how each type of transportation works.

As part of this unit, students took part in a hands-on activity where they built their own rockets using simple materials like balloons, straws, and clothespins. The project was highly interactive, cooperative, fun, and rewarding; allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in a creative and engaging way.
